Kean Odell Hickman - Ambassador



Kean is a joyful Horned Frog fan who brings energy and kindness everywhere he goes. He loves video games, YouTube, and exploring cities with big skylines—especially New York, where even the street vendors know him.

Having lived in several states and even Chile, he’s become a friendly face in every community. Kean greets everyone with a wave, making him beloved in his neighborhood. With sharp organizational skills and a gift for making people smile, he brightens every day.

Kiernan Smith - Ambassador



Kiernan, 25 years old and standing 4’8” tall, her charm reaches titanic heights. Her charm is unmistakable, her joy infectious, and her loving spirit impossible to overlook. She walks through life with an open heart—approaching new people with confidence, initiating conversations with ease, and offering hugs as naturally as breathing.

Kiernan is endlessly active and engaged with the world around her. She loves working, singing, dancing, fishing, bowling, going to church, and spending time with her friends. Her YAAG community holds a special place in her life, giving her a circle of friendships and activities that fuel her high‑spirited nature.

A true social butterfly, Kiernan sees the good in everyone. She approaches each day with gratitude, positivity, and a contagious enthusiasm that lifts the people around her. Her unconditional love is her defining gift—one that has shaped her family and countless others, teaching them to love without limits. Through her eyes, all people are equal, valuable, and worthy of kindness.

Kiernan also has a passion for singing, especially the National Anthem. She has performed at several Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas events, and her debut was nothing short of extraordinary: singing the National Anthem at the Night of Superstars in front of thousands, including a national audience on the Cowboy Channel. It was a moment that showcased not just her voice, but her courage, her joy, and her ability to move people deeply.

Kiernan enjoys life immensely, and life is brighter because she’s in it.

Ian Sheldon- Ambassador



Ian is 28 years young, and he’s gifted us with his incredible artistic talent. He has a passion for drawing, a deep love for music, and a lifelong fascination with Star Trek and fighter airplanes. When he’s not sketching starships or aircraft, you’ll probably find him in the water — swimming is one of his happiest places.

What makes Ian shine isn’t just his talent, but the way he shares it. At YAAG, he’s found a community that celebrates his creativity. His artwork at meet‑ups even became the YAAG logo, a symbol of the spirit he brings to our group.

From bowling nights to cooking sessions, from art workshops to swimming meet‑ups, Ian shows up with kindness, enthusiasm, and a welcoming energy — exactly the spirit we want representing YAAG.

Ian isn’t just participating.

He’s growing.

He’s connecting.

He’s inspiring.

And that’s why he’s going to make an incredible YAAG Ambassador.

Eva Walsh - Ambassador



Eva is a sweet young lady whose joy seems to shine from the inside out. She wakes up every morning with a smile — and if you ask her or her mom, they’ll both tell you the same thing. That smile isn’t just a habit; it’s who she is. Eva carries a natural happiness that fills every room she walks into.

Her greatest passion is art. Creating, imagining, and expressing herself through color and shape is where she feels most alive. She dreams of one day having her own place and sharing it with the love of her life — a future she looks forward to with hope and excitement.

When it comes to YAAG, Eva will tell you her favorite part is simple: the people. The friendships, the kindness, the laughter — those are the things she treasures most. YAAG is where she feels connected, supported, and truly herself.

Eva is joyful, creative, and full of heart. She reminds all of us what it looks like to live with gratitude and light.

Kevin Beckrich - Ambassador

Kevin has been a proud member of YAAG for the past three years. During that time, he has built lasting friendships, enjoyed meaningful activities, and grown in confidence.

His kind heart, warm smile, and positive attitude make him a valued member of the group. Kevin especially enjoys trips to the zoo, where he loves seeing the animals. He also has a special interest in police officers and firefighters, and enjoys learning about the important work they do.

Kevin enjoys Special Olympics and also with the TCU students in Flag Football and Basketball. YAAG has provided him a welcoming and supportive community where he is encouraged to learn, grow, and celebrate his unique strengths. We’re truly grateful for the friendships, encouragement, and sense of belonging it has given him.

Andrew Slagle - Ambassador

If it has wheels, Andrew is already smiling. Cars, trucks, trains, and plane museums bring him joy, and he carries that same energy into everything he does. He loves exploring car museums and play museums, shooting hoops with his YAAG friends, and learning in ways that feel joyful and hands‑on. He’s thrilled to be finished with high school, but he never stops growing, discovering, and engaging with the world around him.

Years ago, Andrew traveled all the way to the Netherlands to be part of the global PACS1 reunion, connecting with families and friends who share his rare genetic condition. He represented Fort Worth and YAAG with pride.

But his favorite trip of all time happened this year: a long, beautiful Route 66 road trip filled with car museums, historic stops, neon signs, and wide‑open skies. It was the perfect adventure for someone who loves wheels, movement, and exploring the world one mile at a time.

Andrew volunteers at Taste Restaurant, where he brings enthusiasm, kindness, and a big appetite for good food. He loves helping, serving, and being part of a team.

One of Andrew’s favorite adventures is riding the TexRail, watching the world go by through the window. When he’s not on wheels, he’s in the water — swimming at the YMCA is one of his happiest routines.

Andrew is a devoted uncle who loves cheering on his nieces at their soccer games. He beams with pride watching them play, and they adore having him there. He also loves visiting his Uncle Roy whenever he can. Their bond is strong, steady, and full of joy.

Dylan Vasquez - Ambassador

Dylan is a kind, thoughtful young man whose gentle personality makes him instantly easy to be around. He participates in YAAG activities whenever he’s able, and his presence always brings calm, friendliness, and quiet confidence to the group. Dylan enjoys a mix of simple, meaningful routines and fun experiences.

Working at Los Vaqueros Restaurant, where he takes pride in doing a great job and being part of a team!

Working out and karate. He is a purple belt, working towards his black belt!

Reading books about different countries.

Joining YAAG outings, connecting with friends, and enjoying new experiences! Dylan is deeply loved by his mom and dad, who have supported him every step of the way. Their encouragement, dedication, and belief in him have helped him succeed and

feel confident in the world around him. Their partnership with YAAG reflects the strength of family involvement in our community.

Dylan embodies the heart of YAAG – kindness, perseverance, and connection. He shows that success comes in many forms: showing up, trying new things, building friendships, and being proud of who you are. His journey reminds us that every young adult in YAAG brings something special to our community.
